He told me to think about what was the purpose for my work in order to decide if a book, magazine, website or online exhibition would be the best way to present it. He suggested discussing this with my mentor Sebastian so that I could make a definite final decision that I was happy with. The following week I told John that I had decided for definite that I was presenting my work as a website and not as a book which had been a possibility in the past. He told me to find websites that I like the look of and then show them to him so that he could show me how to make them. He also suggested to look at story websites on the internet and see how they were laid out. I mentioned to him the idea of creating Gifs and he said not to use them if they are not going to add anything to it and are going to be a lot more work but not have a lot of pay off or not add a great deal to my project.

I told Sebastian that I had decided to make a website maybe in the style of an online exhibition for my final outcome as I wanted a large range of people to see my work and I thought a website would be more suitable for this than a book. He also thought this was a good idea as it would give me more time to finish my project as I could work on a website for longer where as a book would need to be sent the book to the printers a few weeks before the deadline and as I had changed my idea at a late stage the extra time would be beneficial so that I could do more photoshoots and therefore have more work in my final outcome.

I got a 2:2 for my fmp proposal feedback which is about the grade I was expecting. Sebastiane thought that my planned layout of the book needs changing as at the moment it is quite monotonous and not as exciting as it could be. I think this is true and so if I do change the idea to aiming Into The Woods at adults then I will try to make the layout more innovative. i have thought about trying to find a way of incorporating interactive elements into the coffee table book like I had planned to in my original idea of a children's book. I think that somehow layering images of having different films that could be placed over them to change of distort the images might be an effective idea that is not in most coffee table books. Obviously to have this printed would be an extortionate amount of money so I may have to add in the interactive elements myself after the book is printed.
